Damjan Kozole was born in 1964. He is an award-winning Slovenian filmmaker whose works are regularly officially selected for main competition programs at prominent festivals such as the Berlin Film Festival, Rotterdam International Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival etc. The influential film magazine, Sight & Sound, ranked his film, Spare Parts, among the ten most important films of the New Europe. In 2012 he received Lifetime Achievement Award at the Rome Film Festival.
Estranged semi-siblings share an apartment, and decades of bitter resentment, in this darkly funny Slovenian drama.
