Tiago Guedes attended the New York Film Academy. His first feature film, Blood Curse, co-directed with Frederico Serra, was in the official selection of festivals such as Hamburg, Busan and Torino. The feature film Noise, also codirected with Frederico Serra, was selected for several international film festivals, such as San Sebastián, where it was awarded the Best First Feature. He directs the feature Sadness and Joy in the Life of Giraffes.
